AgriSeal Bale Wrap

We will carry the AgriSeal bale wrap again this year! The 30″ x 5,000′ rolls are available individually or by the pallet of 24 rolls. Discounts are available, see the new products tab for information. They make a 20″ roll but we do not plan to stock it unless there is a demand for it. If you would like it, please contact us for pricing and availability. Norflex, a family owned company, is located in Wisconsin. The owner has a farm that he routinely tests their products on so they know that their products will do the job! How many of the competitors can say they use it themselves?

Like Norflex, the owner of Ag Plastic Solutions LLC uses it on his farm after frustrations with using lower cost, or sometimes comparable appearing products that simply didn’t hold up. Those undesirable traits include:

-pin holes

-green mold layer around the outside

-wrap edge curling

-unwanted unwrapping of stored bales while removing bales to feed

-tails during bale transport

If you have these same issues, consider trying a few rolls of AgriSeal! You put the expense and time into planting, growing, mowing, raking/merging, baling, hauling bales, and wrapping your crop, probably trying to beat that approaching storm. Shouldn’t you be able to feed all of the crop with minimal loss and headache? Try AgriSeal this year and let us know what you think! We want to hear from you!

New year, new changes

2019 brought new challenges to the recycling industry and with that came changes to our operations. Our long-time customers know that when Ag Plastic Solutions was founded, the goal was to create value for the materials and be able to pay our customers for the materials they brought for recycling. The trend continues to lead us away from that goal, unfortunately. In January 2020 we had to implement tip fees for the first time on some materials. These fees are to help cover our handling costs that we can not get from the marketplace when we sell the materials to our manufacturing companies. See the materials accepted page to see what the fees are. We are optimistic that there will be a time that we can roll the fees back off, as there is continued interest in pilot projects with various agencies and companies to foster relationships where we can develop better end uses, and value, for the challenging materials we work with. The most challenging material we see from farms is the mulch film as it has no market at this time. We will update our customers through this website and our Facebook page on any new developments. Check back regularly!

A Solution for Drip Tape

Drip Tape

Got drip tape? Here’s a solution! Rolling it up or simply wrapping it into managable bundles that are around the size of a pallet is the simplest way we have seen yet to handle them. Cut out the fittings and reuse them as they are not the same plastic material as the tube itself.

Make sure there is no crop residue or hunks of mud and rocks on it as you gather it from the field and bring it on in! Keep your trunk lines separate, too! No need to dumpster or burn these anymore!
